DenTek Bought by Prestige Brands

DenTek Oral Care, Inc., a privately held maker of oral care products, is now part of Prestige Brands Holdings (NYSE: PBH). Prestige paid $225 million for DenTek’s product line of floss picks, interdental brush cleaners, dental guards, disposable dental picks, braces care and dental repair products. The acquisition expands Prestige’s portfolio of OTC brands, adding specialty oral care products marketed in the United States, Australia and Europe.
