With this acquisition, Vivo Infusion will operate 55 ambulatory infusion centers across ten states. Founded in 2018, Specialty Infusion provides ambulatory infusion and specialty pharmacy services at 14 ambulatory infusion centers in New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey. HouseWorks Announces Acquisition of Care and Help Home Care

HouseWorks, LLC announced on May 3 its acquisition of Care and Help Home Care. According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 31st Home Health & Hospice deal of 2023. This also marks HouseWorks’ second deal of the year. In February 2022, HouseWorks acquired the personal care division at Amedisys, Inc. for an undisclosed price. Cano Health Goes Public in Reverse Merger

Cano Health, LLC has been an active buyer in the healthcare space for the past few years, reporting a couple of deals in 2020 alone. Now the primary care operator is going public in a new reverse merger with Jaws Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: JWS), a special purpose acquisition company. The deal is valued at $4.4 billion. Acquisitions of rehabilitation companies and clinics has been on the rise in recent years. That trend is continuing in 2017, with nine deals announced in the first quarter. Five of those were announced in March alone. The second quarter is off to a good start, too. Pivot Physical Therapy, a portfolio company of CI Capital Partners, just inked its fourth deal of 2017.
